Curtis Lester is a self taught musician who grew up in Austin,Texas. He started playing piano as a kid and moved to guitar a few years later. His father was a big supporter of the blues scene in Austin, which influenced Curtis’ style of playing. After college he started playing with some friends in Baltimore and a band called Groove Syndicate.

In 2005, Curtis moved to Washington, D.C. and started playing with the Denise Henderson Group. The group performed throughout the area, including a rally concert for President Obama.

Curtis brings a soulful blues sound and driving rock edge that makes the 8 ohms sound original & stand above all the rest!
